Mini Ipod Review
PC Magazine have reviewed the Mini Ipod (also see our review here). In conclusion, "The iPod Mini, with accessories, costs almost as much as the full-size 10GB iPod, but we don't care. If you want cost-effective, get the Creative Nomad MuVo2. If you want premium, get the Apple iPod Mini". Other Ipod Mini reviews spotted in the wild: TechTV Review: " Pros: Sleek styling; small size; excellent integrated scroll pad (Click Wheel) Con: Price per megabyte much higher than the standard iPod" PCWorld Review: "The IPod Mini--small, sleek, and expensive--is expected to set sales records when it becomes available this weekend because, well, it's an IPod."

Ipod Mini Cheap?
While it's true that the Ipod Mini is less expensive that it's bigger brother, the original ipod, some have wondered if the Ipod Mini is priced too high. The Ipod Mini is certainly not cheap. However, as production ramps up and retailers need to compete with each other as demand falls off, the consumer can reasonably expect cheaper Ipod Minis in future.
Ipod Mini in Stock
As many retailers are experiencing short supply of the Ipod Mini, Apple executive Greg Joswiak says there could contune to be shortfalls, and recommends "people get in line early". He told the BBC "supply will keep up with demand by September." Finding an Ipod Mini in stock can be difficult, so shortly we'll be listing retailers who do have the device available now.

Apple's own stores can't keep the credit card-sized mini in stock. When shipments come in, they sell out within a day or so. And don't bother getting on a waiting list — they've stopped keeping them.... more
