Why Microsoft Should Abandon DRM
OK, so it's not directly related to the Ipod Mini, however there's an interesting blog entry regarding Cory Doctorow's speech. Excellent. I think DRM is going to lock everything down to hardware, and there is no demand for this - it's bad for everybody and will not work. You won't be able to play Windows Media Center WMA files on an iPod. It's going to reduce music to the platform. Hat-tip: Richard Giles weblog.
